This 1-2 bedroom model features an open plan living which spans the width of two containers as does the master bedroom. Both bedrooms feature double wardrobes and there is a separate laundry cupboard off the kitchen area.

Measuring only 2.4 x 3m in most cases it does not require consent (please check with your local council, some regions have exceptions)

Great Barrier

This is our self-sufficient model designed to operate off-the-grid where power, water and sewage connections are unavailable.

It features solar panels with battery storage, fresh water tank, grey water filter system, composting, cassette or waterless toilet, LPG water heating, kitchenette with gas stove and mini fridge/freezer.

Additional options include heating, a custom built sofa wall bed and furnishings such as bar stools, blinds and TV.

Or we can install a mezzanine floor allowing for separate upper level living and lower level bedroom such as in our Prototype and Build NZ Expo models as seen in our Gallery.

For a lock up and leave lifestyle we can even add a fold up deck

Based of a 20′ model our IQ Great Barrier is light and easier to transport.

Like all our designs, additional room(s) can be gained by adding an IQ Waiheke or 10m2 model.

Pricing is inclusive of solar system where indicated, 1000L rainwater recycling system plumbed to your toilet and washing machine, closed cell polyurethane foam insulation to 1.5x NZ building code requirements, full fitout including LED lighting, bathroom, wardrobe systems, PVC flooring, kitchen, water efficient tapware, fixed kitchen appliances (oven, dishwasher, hob, rangehood). Pre-wired and plumbed ready for connecting to your site services.

Where applicable it also includes an allowance for joining of units onsite and roof supply and install also. Depending on your location we may need to charge addition for travel and accommodation for our team to complete these site works.

It only excludes furniture, curtains/blinds and non-fixed appliances (fridge, washing machine etc) along with; consents, delivery and site works such as foundations, connection to site services and any decking/landscaping desired.

We offer two options for clients, either you can purchase the units from us which includes drawings required for consenting (excluding site specific detail) and engage local contractors to assist with consenting, site works etc and project manage this aspect yourself or we can project manage this for you and offer a turn key solution.

We can easily offer a turn-key solution in Auckland and Christchurch, outside of these areas we would look to engage a local company to assist with consenting and site works or, if no-one is suitable, send our team to complete these also.
