Majority of our standard models offer open plan kitchen & living areas and are designed to make the most of a view or outdoor space with living and master bedroom facing the one direction. The rear of most units feature high windows to allow for light and ventilation without compromising on privacy and security. This means they are versatile and suitable for a variety of applications. Refer below for our standard plans or contact us to discuss a custom design
The Great Barrier (studio)
RRP From $75k +gst (grid-tied), $95k +gst (off-grid)
Our Great Barrier is a 20ft high cube container fitted out with small bathroom, kitchen and combined living/bedroom area.
Can be easily upgraded to operate off-grid with a composting toilet, gas appliances, built in utilities cupboard housing a 1000l water tank, battery bank connected to roof-top solar panels, LPG water heater and greywater filter system.
A great tiny home or remote bach
Additional options include diesel heating, sofa wall bed or mezzanine floor allowing for separate upper level living and lower level bedroom such as in our Prototype and Build NZ Expo models as seen in our Gallery.
Like all our designs, additional room(s) can be gained by adding an IQ Waiheke or Hobbit model.
The Tekapo (1 bed)

This layout features a separate bedroom with the bathroom conveniently located in between the living and sleeping area

The Coromandel (studio unit)

This layout is designed for a view with kitchen and furniture all facing the outdoor living space.
It features a large single open plan room with a sliding petition which provides the ability to section off at night and create a separate bedroom.

The Arrowtown (1 bed)
RRP $135k +gst
This model is comprised of 2 x 20′ high cube containers in an L shape. The first container features a small kitchen with a bathroom at the opposite end. The second container is left as a blank canvas for you to furnish as you see fit, a large bedroom or extended living area.
Both containers open up to an outdoor area ideal as a covered deck to further extend the living area

The Kaitaia (Studio or 1 bed)
RRP $145k +gst
This model is comprised of 2 x 20′ high cube containers connected in parallel.
Ideal for compact sites, one container features an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar dining and living room opening up on one side. The other container features a bathroom, laundry/storage cupboard and bedroom with wardrobe.
The internal wall between bedroom and living area can be removed if an open studio layout is preferred.
This model features an external additional roof. Extend your living area with a covered deck or additional container and rise on piles to create a double carport underneath if desired.

The Invercargill (1 bed)

Our largest 1 bed model is comprised of 2 x 40′ high cube containers connected in parallel and featuring an external additional roof.
The open plan kitchen and living area span the width of both containers and open on both sides, allowing outdoor living in either direction
The bathroom is accessible from the main living area and the bedroom which also features a walk in robe
Please note due to the nature of this layout, kitchen and flooring will need to be fitted post delivery so may incur more time onsite.

The Taupo (2 bed)

Our latest model comprised of 3×20′ containers connected in parallel features a master bedroom and small second bedroom or office. The master and living room span the width of 1.5 containers providing more space than our single width models. Second bedroom can be extended into passage way if separate external entry is not required.
With master, living room and kitchen featuring large windows, this model is ideal for sites with 180 degree views. A deck off the living room and kitchen lends itself to alfresco dining
Generous bathroom and laundry cupboard complete this practical layout.

The Russell (1-2 bed)

This 1-2 bedroom model features an open plan living which spans the width of two containers as does the master bedroom. Both bedrooms feature double wardrobes and there is a separate laundry cupboard off the kitchen area.
The living area and bedrooms all open up to the outdoors, ideal for maximising a view or north facing sunshine.

The Pauanui (3 bed)

Comprised of 4 x 20’HQ containers (approx. 60m2) this model makes an ideal small home, bach or minor dwelling where 3 bedrooms are desired
2 central containers open up to create a 30m2 open plan kitchen/dining/living area which flows into the outside area.
Bedrooms are offset to create interest and frame a sheltered deck area. Master bedroom can open onto deck (optional)
Home can be raised to create a carport or garage underneath, an ideal option for sloping sites

The Paihia (3-4 bed)

This model utilises our 1-2 bed Russell model with an additional wing incorporating another two bedrooms and bathroom.
Like all our models, the living area and main bedroom all open out to one side ideal for making the most of a view or outdoor living area.

The Taranaki (3 bed)

Like our Paihia this model is comprised of 3x 40ft high cube containers and offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, great for a small family. An optional additional 20′ container can be added to extend the living area if desired.

The Queenstown (3 bed – 2 storied)

Hobbit

The IQ Hobbit, like its larger cousin the Waiheke, is also ideal for a sleepout, hobby room, office or artists studio
Measuring only 2.4 x 3m in most cases it does not require consent (please check with your local council, some regions have exceptions)
Fully lined and insulated with a ranch slider entry that can be secured by the external container doors.

Pre-wired and plumbed ready for connecting to your site services.
Upgrades listed are for a grid-tied solar system and rainwater collection tank plumbed to your toilet and washing machine
Where applicable pricing also includes an allowance for joining of units onsite and roof supply and install also. Depending on your location an additional charge for travel and accommodation may be applicable.
Price excludes furniture, curtains/blinds and non-fixed appliances (fridge, washing machine etc) along with; consents, delivery and site works such as earthworks, foundations, connection to site services and any decking/landscaping desired.
